The siege of Jerusalem will also be against Judah. On that day I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples. All who lift it will surely hurt themselves. And all the nations of the earth will gather against it. On that day, declares the Lord, I will strike every horse with panic, and its rider with madness. But for the sake of the house of Judah I will keep my eyes open, when I strike every horse of the peoples with blindness. Behold, all who are incensed against you shall be put to shame and confounded; those who strive against you shall be as nothing and shall perish. You shall seek those who contend with you, but you shall not find them; those who war against you shall be as nothing at all.~Isaiah 41:11-12
If there was one thing that the bad guys did that really ticked off the Israelite's G_d, it was to attack His chosen people. In the Old Testament, those attackers felt the G_d of Israel's wrath and it was not pretty or pleasant. If a guy from Hamas said the Israeli's G_d was intercepting the rockets from Gaza, that's a huge admission of weakness. If the Hamas cause was just, Allah would see to it the rockets got through to their targets. And yet, many of the rockets are intercepted by Iron Dome missiles or go off course. Hmmmm.
