When people donate money to a candidate, they do so knowing that that candidate will have the political capital to work for them and thus get a little return on their “investment.” That said, when that political capital diminishes severely, it then becomes a gambling matter. And yet people don’t like to throw their money away knowing that they are throwing their money away.

The President’s political capital is almost empty. Many who were disillusioned with him by 2012, yet gave him another chance, are pretty much gone now. Many of them have gone from giving him another chance to not caring at all about political matters.

The President is also facing a tough election year in that normally, should a president win a second term, the current usually goes against the party that holds the White House.

After getting news that the economy shrank another 2.9%, and hearing that Bill Gates is even laying off tens of thousands of workers, you know that the next 2 years are going to be rocky, especially if we have a re-run of what we had the first two years when Obama had a Democrat controlled, rubber stamp Congress.

I don’t know about your legal questions but who he’s raising $ for is terrified Dems. They think there’s going to be a wipeout in Nov., & they’re probably right. Obama realizes he’ll finally get blamed for something, so he’s fundraising as if his life depends on it. He’s catching flack even from liberals, however; fundraising to this extent while the world burns is a little too much even for his sycophants. He’s on the skids, & it’s not going to get any better for him any time soon.

Couple of my friends declined the sit down at George’s and in Hollywood.

I don’t think it’s so much as fatigue as it is his term ends soon.

Everyone was yippee skippee before his 2nd election but, they had their fun and it’s time to consider their next candidate.

5 large is about an 85% mark-down from 32. That may be a better indicator than any polling.

Just sayin'...

Those who give money to this crook should be condemned just as much, if not more, than the crook himself.

Oh no...that means he’ll be coming back to Austin soon. Wonder how many more times the Texas trial lawyers will pay to be fleeced by the carpetbagger from D.C. They are one dumb bunch.

You've done it now! The Texas Hammer's coming for you!

Desperate tech wanna be entrepreneurs paying to pretend to be important. The pictures of them with Obama that now hang on their office walls to impress people will be thrown in the trash within a few months.

+1. One last dash for cash until Obama officially becomes a lame duck (unofficially, I think he's there now).

The Seventh became my favorite after I heard it in the Sydney Opera House by the London Symphony in 1987...about a 5 minute standing ovation

The Egmont overture is my next favorite...
