If I were the leader of Israel I’d go Herrod on them and be done with it.

A “quite peace” would be possible for two generations.

The Pali’s can’t seem to build anything of value and prefer to live in squaler, relying on the benefits of living under Palestinian rule.

the only thing they seem to be good at is causing trouble and making bombs.

They aren’t interested in growing their economy and prospering.

Much better to be tools in their long view of their world view and eventually, one day, drive Israel into the sea.

They can’t even be decent heirs to anything Israel gives them, so they might prosper.

No, they much prefer to take working and profitable green houses and dismantle them for elements of their bomb making schemes.

Israel cannot afford long-drawn out campaigns, let alone guerrilla warfare. Many said that the lessons from the Second Lebanon War were that the next war would be a Blitzkrieg affair, down & dirty and quick. It looks like the Tenderfoot Israeli government and Chief of Staff are being sucked into the same old formula:
Air Force, Air Force, Air Force, Ground Forces...

Israel should use bunker busters on the HAMAS HQ under Al_Shafa hospital, where they are sitting some 30 meters underneath.
The Israelis will be dragged to the Hague anyway so might as well eliminate HAMAS’s entire leadership.
