An ex-military guy told me that women's tampons were great for stopping bleeding from gunshot wounds ...

and that cases of tampons would disappear "instantly" upon shippment arrivals at U.S. bases in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Has anyone any experience with that account ?

I have never been in the military. But I am a woman and a tampon will hold between 5 ml and 10 ml. So I guess if you had a through and through a tampon would help.

Yep, I’ve heard the same thing.

Some of these idiots that live in cities, work behind a desk and think you need a paramedic to take care of a paper cut haven’t the slightest clue how the average person in flyover country leads their lives and can take care of themselves without govt assistance.

I remember years ago reading about how many people would actually call 911 for a band-aid.
