That is my guess. The cease fire ends at 7PM on Saturday (lunchtime on the East Coast of the US), just in time for sunset and the end of the Sabbath. It also happens to be the dark of the moon that night, ideal for an attack against an opponent with inferior night vision capabilities.
It is a short drive to the sea. I would not be surprised to see the Star of David flying over Gaza City when the sun rises on Sunday.
Once the command center falls, a majority of Hamas’ 100,000 will be hurriedly burying their Hamas uniforms and memorabilia, to better blend into the crowd.
If Hamas does not fold overnight, then more of them will be killed overall, which may be better in the long run.
