I find it impossible to listen to Rush because he repeats himself. Reading it is just as bad. I wish somebody would offer a Rush editing service to distill the page down to the one or, possibly, two relevant thoughts.

You can handle only 2 relevant thoughts per page? What are we dealing with now...a mental victim?

You're absolutely correct. Rush repeats whole rants over and over again during his show. Then he repeats the same rants over and over in subsequent shows. He doesn't have too much fresh or up-to-the minute hard news with analysis anymore, just a lot of ideological sermons and musings, readings from articles, meaningless, lengthy, boring poll data....and days-old "sound bites" by the scores.

In short, he and his material have become stale.

It's perhaps time for him to have some interesting guests and interviews on a show or two a week to add some spark to the same-old, same-old.

I sure would like to see him in a half-hour debate with some of those rabid lefty freaks that Fox puts on its evening line-up every night.

This honest, well-intentioned critique from a 22-year almost-daily listener could not be posted on the daily Rush thread because the author would immediately be crucified.

Repetition is a device to pound the point home.

I find it impossible to listen to Rush because he repeats himself.
I started listening to Rush in 1991 and did so until 2009 or so when his shows became nothing but anti-Obama.
The same rant day after day, week after week. Can't tell you how many times I wondered if I was listening to a Best of Rush show.
He used to be cutting edge, entertaining, etc. Now he does little more than rant about last week's news.
