General Philip Breedlove, NATOs top commander in Europe, has proposed that the Polish city of Szczecin expand its existing base to help the military alliance respond faster to any threat posed by Russia.
According to the Atlantic Council, a Washington-based think-tank close to NATO, Britain and other NATO allies backing the generals plans to place suppliesweapons, ammunition and ration packsat a new headquarters in eastern Europe, to enable a sudden influx of thousands of NATO troops to be ready for action in the event of a crisis.

I can just see the EU weenies telling Poland. Yeah you be the sacrificial lamb and we’ll back you up from behind...Way behind.
There is a Nato Mech. Brigade there made up of German, Danish and Polish units. If push came to shove, The Poles would stand up as a fighting force, don’t sell them short.
The Poles of late have said they need Germany’s backing against Russia. Looks like the left really doesn’t learn from historya manifestation of the communistic notion of the present dominating the past (ref. George Santayana’s famous quote).
Could you please kindly elaborate more on this view, I’m quite interested in this subject however I believe I have missed the point.
