Why don't we treat them exactly as American kids would be treated if they were sent on a 2000 mile or more journey without their parents or guardians?

We would put the kids in foster care. We'd charge the parents with criminal negligence. We'd force them to spend thousands of dollars in legal fees if they ever wanted to see their kids again, much less regain custody. Eventually, the younger more adoptable kids would be placed with real families.

BEST POST YET---DESERVES A REPEAT We should treat them exactly as American kids would be treated if they were sent on a hazardous 2000-mile journey, shadowed by violent drug cartels, without their parents or guardians:

<><> put them in foster care,

<><> charge the parents with criminal negligence,

<><> force them to spend $$thousands in legal fees if they ever want to see them again, or regain custody.

What is completely ignored by "advocates" is that the border invasion is VERY aggressive criminal behavior.

Criminologists analyzing the border invasion would see dangerous precedents: patterns of sinister behavior---individuals from savage cultures w/ a dangerous propensity for violent crimes and serial criminal activity.
