Because with American Jews, especially the liberal ones..liberalism IS their religion..Ive seen it over and over again, especially here in LA which has a large Jewish population..the majority of them could care less about what happens to Israel, they have never visited Israel so they don’t consider it a part of “Their world”

One Jewish woman I know told me that her mother told her that the "Jews in Israel aren't 'our kind of people.'"
When I asked her what her mother and she meant by that statement, she shrugged and said she never asked her mother what terminology stood for but she thought it had something to do not only with where most Jews in Israel came from but also that they don't practice their faith the same (my friend is very liberal, knows very little about the practice of Judiasm and the scriptures.)
If I were to compare my friend's faith to that of a Christian, I would call them C&E or nominal Christians.
Lastly, my friend's parents were probably anti-Zionists back before WWII and do not support the desire of those who move or merely help out Jews who need their support today.
If my friend and her family lived in Israel today, they would be among those Jews that are always pushing the government to "make peace with Muslims," never once realizing that it is Muslims that don't want peace with Israel or the Jews, they merely want the Jews dead!
They live here not there....Union employment plays a large roll too. A work acquaintance said her husband always votes with the Union vote regardless if he opposes the candidate or not..
