That is interesting if true. That official would be a true patriot. I wonder if someone from say the Clinton side? Of course the Israelis could be lying to cover what is a major breach of protocol.
More likely Obama had this leaked, calculating that if people in the US see him as hard-nosed and decisive he might move the needle in a more European direction and finally isolate Israel.
I predict it will fail in the same way his leaking of his workout pictures failed to make him look more manly.
