Are we supposed to conclude that weed would have kept her alive?

That’s what I am inferring which is ridiculous. I know what it is like to lose a child, my son died at 2 years old from leukemia. I feel for these parents. But I don’t think pot would have stopped this.

Are we supposed to conclude that weed would have kept her alive? I understand that it reduces the frequency and severity of the seizures. Since she had one severe enough to put her in a coma, then yes, it might have kept her alive.
To: G Larry
I believe that is the objective of the article.

They say the oil (ingested) stopped her seizures and that would have saved her.

No. But, possible CBD oil could have.
Nothing like having .Gov involved in health issues. Especially when experimental procedures could/can be tried.

No, the POT would not have saved her. But hey, don't let the facts stand in
the way of the Stoners on this board. They'll be here in full force this
afternoon when they wake up to get stoned again. It's their cause in life to
free the Pot from the slavery of law and common sense.

She didn’t die because she didn’t get pot......geesh.....idiocy.

That’s what I was thinking. Never let someone’s death go to waste if one can gain a political advantage from it.
To: Wolfie
For a child to die is sad beyond measure, but did it occur to the parents that instead of trying to drag the bureaucratic behemoth into making the medicine they wanted legal, they could have just moved to a different state where it already WAS legal?

If a parent believes it is a matter of life and death that a certain substance be arranged for their child, wouldn’t you go and get it even if you had to move?

No, not pot, a non-psychoactive extract oil, mentioned in the article. But just as illegal as pot.

It might have allowed her to eat better or sleep better or move with less pain. It might have given her a few extra months or merely weeks. What would that be worth to you with your child?

If they were so determined to get her weed, they could’ve gone to Colorado. Never rely on the government to accomplish things quickly (not that I agree with this stupidity).
