Some time this week, 27-year-old Meriam Ibrahim is expected to arrive among relatives in Manchester, New Hampshire.
She made international news for being sentenced to death in Sudan for her Christian faith, but she was able to get to Rome on July 24 and will be in Manchester soon.

Absolutely. From what little I read about her background, she was born into a Christian family, but taken while young by muslims who tried to force her to convert to islam. While still young, she refused to renounce her faith until free of her captors after growing up. They accused her of renouncing islam for Christianity, apostasy being a crime that she was never guilty of because she originated as a Christian and never accepted islam. One heck of a brave woman who suffered indignities thrust upon her.
