I really hope you’re being sarcastic. This is total idiocy. I recall a case in which a teacher was fired by a public school for teaching the word niggardly in her class. We here on FR were outraged by that. We should similarly be outraged by someone getting fired for teaching about homophones.
Admittedly, I am assuming that there is more to the story, that the author is a known homo who was trying to be clever and wrote an article full of risque humor related to faggotry. I just can’t comprehend a world in which he was fired JUST for the use of the word homophonia.
