“A hard-won internationally brokered truce”

Seriously...did anyone believe this ‘truce’ would last more than a day?

It is fundamentally impossible to have a truce with terrorists. How about these ‘negotiators’ set the stage for a truce by first insisting that both sides obey the internationally agreed upon laws of war....wearing uniforms, not randomly firing rockets at civilians, etc.

If they can’t even get them to follow the most basic of guidelines, why one earth would they trust them in a ‘truce’?

Jean-Francois Kerre` must be so proud of all his good hard work.

Now THAT is a lasting legacy, though maybe not the one the Current Regime had in mind.

Too bad Turkey and Qatar were not brought in on this deal. It would have worked, then. < /sarc >
