Women and children hit hardest.
If Free Republic is ever down, remain calm and call the National Guard, the French Foreign Legion, Batman, and Jim Thompson. Please remain CALM.
Idiocracy
Its times like this that I really do fear for the future of the Republic.
all the Kool people have already left Facebook
Well, it’s a natural assumption. Facebook is funneling their users’ private data to LEOs and government agencies, so the fine citizens of CA did their civic duty in reporting that Facebook was offline.
Now watch next week, when Facebook has a public offering of prefered stock and other equity options. Just maybe, after this ‘taking the candy from the baby’ tease by Facebook, just maybe the interest in financially seizing a piece of the Great Facebook Monolith will have been piqued.
Some people were in a complete red panic.
Forget the women and children, my dogs were upset, because they have their own pages...
all the uncool ppl use facebook now. Time for something else
“Facebook users called for help to report that the social media website was down”
911, forsooth—something this dire deserves a call-up of the national guard.
lol
stupid people
they’re probably the majority now
It was horrible. It took almost a minute to boot up this morning but I was one of the lucky ones. It almost worked. It was worse than the flood last year that shut down everything for 4 months. The post office was closed for 6 months./s
I will have multiple schadenfreude orgasms the day FB dies.
Well don’t call Facebook. All you will get are stupid, pointless, wonky emails signed by “The Facebook Team”.
Why has there never been Idiocracy II? It would be a blockbuster.
It’s impossible to imagine anyone being this stupid and self-involved, but there it is.
They need to talk a political poll of all the idgiots (TM - me) (idits + idiot) that called the 911 for Facebook being down. Must be running 90% liberal.
Is this real or satire? It was down but only for a few minutes. Why would anyone call 911 about this? Nuts.
Facebook was down? Darn. I was face down in a book, and missed it.
“An officer from Los Angeles County took to Twitter...”
Uh, that might be part of the problem right there.
I’m surprised our fearless leader din’t declare martial law.
