How about alcoholic and drugs are BOTH harmful in many ways.

Not surprisingly, Christianity (temperance, prohibition), Mormonism, and Islam have decided against alcohol.

I’m not against alcohol, but I can see the harm it has done, does today, and will do in the future.

I don't mean to denigrate the good people that do foster, but fostering itself, is a lifestyle. A welfare lifestyle. Kids are rotated in and out and the welfare just keeps rolling in.

As I said, your mileage may vary, but I see this with three "families" I am acquainted with. The kids are all, to a one, future Obamavoters. I apologize for my bluntness, but it's true.

I was under the impression that fostering was a more permanent arrangement somewhat akin to adoption. It's not.
