The story is about the high school principle who was fired for telling student(s) 'It would be best to speak English in classrooms'.(p) The paper requires a subscription for the whole story. I didn't find it here searching the title. Can anyone fill me in on the rest (besides the excerpt at the source)?

So here are a few questions:
What language is spoken by the refs in a World Cup soccer match when the teams are from divergent countries?
When commercial airline pilots fly into countries that do not speak their native language, what language do they speak?
When company executives get together for international conferences, what language do they speak?
They could have it as a school principle. But I realize that was not the context they meant.
