Colonel Reb is still well alive outside the stadium as is other southern heritage

I heard about this pathetic idea to get rid of the name “Ole Miss” via Facebook the other day. My lifelong friend and her husband live in Oxford now, and they are not happy at all about this.
I only tease about the Black Bear name. Lol. I hope no one gets the idea that the name “Crimson Tide” comes from an old hymn. Heh
