I wonder what kind of artillery they have?
It's arming "friendly groups" that created this horrific situation. How about we just undo some of the damage by blowing ISIS off the face of the Earth?
I get the feeling that the Kurds can take care of themselves if we aren't training, arming, and financing their enemies.

Why do we ANNOUNCE that we will be making airstrikes?
Would this not cause the ISIS fighters to try to HIDE their equipment if possible?
Just saying, shouldn’t we strike and then announce after the fact that: yes, indeed we just have conducted airstrikes on ISIS positions in Iraq.
It just seems this would lead to the most effective use of our military assets ULESS the idea is to give them a warning that we are planning on hitting you, you better hide all your good stuff as best you can.
Are these carrier based or land based strikes?
Hopefully B-52 or B-1 bomber strikes but anything is better than nothing.

This is why Obama doesn’t want to do anything. And this is strictly an opinion.
These are the people Obama armed to take down Syria. These are the people Obama armed to take out Ghaddafi. People have speculated that the purpose of Benghazi was to facilitate the transfer of US arms in Iraq to the rebel forces.
Now let’s say we start bombing them and this all comes to light by ISIS leadership? Because basically this is a double cross by Obama. Right before midterm elections no less. And the media would have no choice but to report this as this would be the major reason we pulled everyone from Iraq.
There is no George Bush to blame. You cannot blame congress for this. It falls on two people. Obama and Hillary. And they won’t be able to hide.
CNN has a guy right now broadcasting from a church full of christian refugee. Says there are upwards to 200,000 refugees. ISIS is 35 miles from where he is. Not a fan of CNN... but this is POWERFUL reporting.

I agree. Best stuff happens when unannounced. Not that Obama or his people don’t know it already. What we hear in thw media about such things is invariably for ‘other’ reasons.

Obama and this government are evil. They won’t do anything if they think it’ll benefit what’s noble and true. It’s certainly worthwhile to pray that some good will accidentally come of it.

You have to have some training in order to use artillery effectively. Where did they get training from?
