U.S. fighter jets launched a “targeted” airstrike on Friday against Islamic militants in Iraq, just hours after President Obama authorized military action to protect U.S. personnel and Iraqi civilians.
Pentagon press secretary Rear Adm. John Kirby said Friday that two F/A-18 jets dropped 500-pound bombs on a piece of artillery and the truck towing it. The Pentagon said the military conducted the strike at 6:45 a.m. ET, against terrorists with the Islamic State (IS), the group formerly known as ISIS.
“As the president made clear, the United States military will continue to take direct action against [IS] when they threaten our personnel and facilities,” Kirby said.
The strike took place near the city of Irbil, after IS used the artillery to shell Kurdish forces defending the city where U.S. personnel are located, the Pentagon said.

That's fine IF obummer follows through on that statement by action and not mere words. But my question to obummer would be, why isn't the US government and he himself giving at least moral support to Israel in it's attempt to shut down Hamas' murderous attacks deliberately targeted on Israeli civilians?
This is just my theory, but I think obummer is so intimidated by Netanyahu's vastly superior intelligence and strength of character that he hates both him and Israel. Hating Israel and it's president is his right as an ordinary citizen (if he is a citizen that is), but not as the supposed-to-be "leader" of the free world.
This is not terror. This is war. All-out, no-holds-barred war. And we should respond, not in kind (atrocities), but with COMPLETE warfare. I’m a JAG, and I think we’ve hamstrung the mightiest fighting force on earth with the ROE. And understand: lawful and moral are, unfortunately, only the same these day occasionally and by coincidence. JAGs don’t make up the rules out of whole cloth, we implement the LAWFUL orders (whether we agree or not) of those above us whose aims are much more political than moral.
