100%The Republican marketers have decided that controversy of any kind ... anything that a "Soccer Mom," or "Single Mom," might find in the least bit disturbing to her MSM-directed POV ... will cost them the Female Vote. Talk to a woman about it. If white female voters were reliably 51-3% non-Democrat, this would be an entirely different country.
A witches brew of minority voters, special interests, and women combine to make the Democrats the default political party of the United States. The Republicans feel that to win a major election, they must pander to these groups.
Of course, these groups, except the women on very rare occasions, never vote for Republicans,anyway.
