They’ve got to be stopped. Our government is our enemy now, and this long pre-dates Obama & Co.

This civil forfeiture sh*t is for the birds.

I’ve seen some stuff lately saying that all this: where are your papers, etc. cr*p all came about because of WWI.

Likely true, but I wonder if some of it might not have come about anyway.

This has been going on at airports for decades. Never carry more than a few hundred dollars to an airport. They can “assume” you’re going somewhere to buy drugs if you’ve got a lot of cash on you. It used to be reported on the news a lot. Not so much these days.
