Cryin’ won’t help you, prayin’ won’t do you no good,
Now, cryin’ won’t help you, prayin’ won’t do you no good,
When the levee breaks, mama, you got to move.

"ISIS is certainly radical enough to do it, so will they and why haven’t done so yet?"

Because ISIS is Sunni-based and 50% of the Sunni population in Iraq lies along the river from Mosul to Baghdad.

Hussein was responsible for the deaths of about 1.3 million innocents. He had nuclear scientists working in Libya. After he was captured, he told his CIA handler that his planned to gear up the nuke program when the heat was off.

Okay, let’s say he was not taken out of power. What happens when he again goes after all the region’s oil fields? We are held hostage over oil because the radical enviros here will not let us get our own energy.

What happens when he has developed a nuclear weapon and sells it to a terrorist, who will deploy it on Wall Street? When that happens, you know what? It is too late. We could not wait for that possibility.

What went wrong in Iraq is that Barack Hussein Obama was elected in 2008.

I agree. Hussein being ousted was and still is in our best interest.

>“If the dam fails, scientists say, Mosul could be completely flooded within hours and a 15-foot wall of water could crash into Baghdad,”

BS. The terrain, gravity and physics does not support such a scenario.

[ISIS is certainly radical enough to do it, so will they and why haven’t done so yet?]

The damn is repaired and maintained with various equipment and raw material on an hourly basis. All that may be required for the damn to rupture is to shut down the machinery and run off the maintenance personnel.

Interesting that you say that because I believe that Iraq II is what elected Obama in 2008.

As for the rest of what you wrote, I would counter:

1. We had him pinned down.

2. There are plenty of others on the warpath with WMD who we haven't attacked.

3. Bush could have used 9/11 to shore up our borders, which in the long run trumps all the other arguments. It wasn't done and now will never be done and will, all by itself, be then end of America as We Knew It.

What if it ‘broke slowly’?

If it's not being repaired - and I assume repairs have stopped - won't there be a slow drop in water level rather than a collapse?

People in Austin (Mansfield Dam, Lake Travis) understand the threat intimately, too.

Remember a few years ago when someone reported some muslimes taking pictures of the flood gates at Mansfield Dam? I feel they weren't doing it for tourist reasons. Three open flood gates on the dam flood 1ST Street. There are 24 floodgates @ more than 5,250 cfs each. Imagine what that would do to Austin.

For those unfamiliar with this dam, here is a picture of the backside.

Saddam made the mistake of trying to assassinate Bush II’s father which IMO was a major factor into the invasion. ...I always believed it was also a personal matter with Bush II.

It was an act of war, and it should have been an issue for Clinton.

We need bigger bombers that carry more bombs and are fuel efficient with no pilots.

Maybe even automatic.

We just have guys on the ground that refuel and reload them.

The Mosul Dam might be considered a real WMD in the hands of a terrorist organization.

That’s exactly what we need to strive for in Islamic countries.

The “Mahdi” is my insulting, disrespectful name for the current WH occupant. The Mahdi is an Islamic version of the Messiah. Islam being a fake, concocted pseudo-religion, its Mahdi is as much an evil fake as the “religion” itself. Obama being a Mudslime and an evil fake, "the Mahdi" is a perfect way to refer to him.

“Mahdi” also fits because he sacrilegiously and falsely portrays himself as the Messiah and millions of overeducated nitwits believed him

They are not educated. They might have degrees, awards and nobel peace prizes, but they are not educated.
