We’re the code violations assessed before or after the treasure trove was found. I can almost see a special session of the city council meeting...

“How much do you think those silver coins are worth?”

“Estimating by the number of them probably $500K”

“Okay, I want code enforcement to create violations totallling at least $500K”

I’m on it sir. I’ll even add in a little extra just in case there’s a little more than we thought”
