I’ve never understood why the response to some perceived injustice is going out and starting a riot. How does that help your cause? How does that help you get support from others, when you riot because of whatever injustice you are protesting?


The riots aren’t so much started by the rioters. “Community Organizers” and “Agitators” work the crowds and stoke their anger. Once they have the mob all stirred up it doesn’t take much for pack mentality to kick in.

Yes, exactly.

There used to be an exhibit at the old DC Carneigie Library on Mass Ave near the old and me convention centers. It was titled “Riots are the Voice of the Unheard”

Although not stated explicitly, it was clear that there was power to be accumulated, and good money to be made, by certain groups and people (what Booker T Washington termed “Problem Profiteers”) as a direct result of riots.
