Another thing I want to add. Due to either this type of police training or the people they recruit, it makes me wonder what side they will be on when our society starts to collapse. Any thoughts on that?

Some percentage of LEO’s do an outstanding-to-remarkable job of PO’n civilians. My practical experience demonstrates it a minuscule number but judging by exception is equally expeditious for many “silly villains”.
