If you want to find out what the GOPe is thinking all you have to do is listen to their shills on Salem Radio.
Hugh Hewitt and Michael Medved will be touting the RINO flavor of the month as a “conservative”.
Of course Hewitt and Medved’s idea of a conservative is Karl Rove and Lindsey Graham and others of that sort.
If we had an informed electorate, the GOPe would be the DEMOCRAT party and today’s Democrat Party would be relegated to the lunatic fringe where they belong.
In terms of Republican "branding," pawning off Hewitt and Medved as "conservatives" is like selling a Yugo as a Cadillac. That's the "Republican" brand. An even more accurate "brand" value comparison between "conservatives" like Hewitt and Medved compared to Obama and Democrats, is that of diet decaf Coke to the Democrat's full-blown Pepsi. Rove wants to talk about brands, THAT is the Republican brand and why it is losing in America.
But there's people who'll buy anything. For awhile, anyway.
