Daughter registered my grandsons, who have have gone to the same school for four years now, still has to:

Show proof of Residency
show Birth certificates
have Shot records

EVERY YEAR

I hated having to prove the same things over & over & over again when my kids were in school. It wasn't just the big things but all of the same paper work sent home at the beginning of every school year. I understand the need to keep contacts, physicians, etc up to date, but my God if they have been speaking English since the day they were born why the need to document “language in the home” & other demographic info year after year.

I wanted to tell them the same thing my teachers always told me. Go look it up.

And this Secure ID requirement for DL is another bug up my butt. I can understand if it is required from everyone getting a DL for the first time. But I have been driving for about 45 years. Not only that, I have been married for 40. But now I have to prove it just to renew my DL.
