What? What an idiot. Replace one military with another? Seems the Gov has this one. Took over from the local idiots. Even ODimwit isn’t that stupid.

I cannot find anywhere in the Constitution where martial law is authorized. In fact, the way I see martial law, is that it is the suspension of the Constitution. The government has no authority to suspend the Constitution and if they do suspend it, you and I and everyone else will have no rights left.

I took an oath to protect and defend the Constitution and the suspension of it will automatically make me an enemy of the rogue government.

Did anybody else just see that SLAM of Obama on CNN, about his speech today??

After Obama spoke about protecting “journalist rights”, the guy in Ferguson said, “We know that the job of prosecuting Journalists for excersising their First Amendment Rights is the job of the Justice Department!”

WOW.....

Constitutional Topic: Martial Law:

martial law is the suspension of civil authority and the imposition of military authority. When we say a region or country is “under martial law,” we mean to say that the military is in control of the area, that it acts as the police, as the courts, as the legislature. The degree of control might vary - a nation may have a civilian legislature but have the courts administered by the military. Or the legislature and courts may operate under civilian control with a military ruler. In each case, martial law is in effect, even if it is not called “martial law.”

Martial law should not be confused with military justice. In the United States, for example, each branch of the military has its own judicial structures in place. Members of the service are under the control of military law, and in some cases civilians working for or with the military may be subject to military law. But this is the normal course of business in the military. Martial law is the exception to the rule. In the United States, the military courts were created by the Congress, and cases can be appealed out of the military system to the Supreme Court in many cases. In addition, a civilian court can petition the military for habeas corpus.

Article 1, Section 9 states, “The privilege of the Writ of Habeas Corpus shall not be suspended, unless when in Cases ‘of Rebellion’ or Invasion the public Safety may require it.

Ignore them.

It’s the peaceful protesters and middle-class homeowners that would be detained with extreme prejudice.

Same guy that a far-far-far-Left group invited to speak at a rally, then refused him at the last minute because someone stood up and objected that nobody should singularly address the group because that would be recognizing them as somehow better/different than everyone else, and the rest of the group agreed and cancelled his speech while he was just feet from the podium - with a radiant “WTF?” look on his face.

interesting. this mob sounds like a pretty even handed group. Given that, perhaps their concerns are real and we should be more supportive. Add to that the behavior of the police, including arresting journalists, tear gassing them and trying to take their equipment. There is no need for that. Any cops that do that are clearly on the wrong side of the law or think that they are gods.

Not that I'm advocating it, but isn't that the Governor's call? What's with all these people calling on zero to stick his nose in where it doesn't belong, but never demand he takes action where it is his purview? You know that mr. mulato would never have interrupted his vacay if it was some White boy that was shot. But then there's not enough White trash to riot if that was the case.

Now Georgia is dictating to Missouri? It’s none of his business. He and obola need to keep their noses out of it.

I don’t know Steve, why don’t you tell me.

Is it because getting Marshal and Martial correct is really important, or is it just that you think it is important?
