In some cases, jobs are advertised in order to show state and federal government that the employer is really really trying to hire women and minorities.

Would you want to work for someone that want total access to your private communication? Even if you’ve got nothing on there that matters it’s YOUR private communication and none of their damn business. The correct answer to somebody requesting access to your FB page is “goodbye”.

"There’s nothing like CHEAP labor, no matter what the quality."

Yeah, nothing better than importing $8 per hour software developers. It's even better when they work 18 hours per day 7 days a week remotely from India, and you just mail them $200 check every month for their "salary". lol

The state of most things today is just demoralizing. If I didn't have morals, I'd put my talents to REAL use, and become a well 'paid' criminal. It works for most bankers, politicians, ect.....ect...ect (the list could be pages long)

Unfortunately, it seems the only things that pay well these days involve screwing people over....(we all get it daily, whether we realize it or not)

It's not just the cheap labor, it is the non-existant Social Security and matching Social Security, 940 forms, 941 forms, unemployment taxes, federal taxes and double all that for state taxes plus the the expenses associated with hiring someone to administer all that BS.

Companies save a lot of money and headaches by outsourcing.

Any bitching about cheap labor should come full circle to the doorstep of the politicians who passed all the onerous regulations demanded of employers.
