After all that and they want to indict Perry. Unbelievable!!! She should have resigned the next day in disgrace which is what she is.
There is nothing ‘grand’ about most grand juries
They are nothing but an uncontested dog and pony show for the prosecutors office . I should be investigated to see if she was somehow able to stack the so-called ‘grand jury’ with jurors inclined to support her spurious charges and whom had a political vendetta against Gov Perry . If that can be shown then the DA should go away in to the Texas penal system for a long long time . Where she belongs

She should have but what is at the crux of this matter, aside from Perry's presidential aspirations, is that Perry, as governor, would have appointed her replacement. That is too much for the Austin bolsheviks to stomach so Lehmberg dug in to keep the Travis DA job in 'Rat hands.
You got that right .. Austin is a cesspool of radical leftists who HATE Perry and are willing to do just about anything to get rid of him.
This move against Perry will do more harm to the left; Perry will not shirk from exposing and embarrassing them.
And .. I want to know when the left is going to be screaming about the “finger pointing in the shape of a gun” .. can she be “expelled” from office like they do the little kids at school ..??????

Well yes but according to my best friend who is an attorney a large percentage of attorneys drink like fish and they even show up drunk in court. It gets overlooked as its so widespread. I know a million attorneys and almost all of them talk about doing something else or are looking for a way out.
Something tells me that none of this extensive arrest and booking video was part of the “evidence” the grand jury evaluated.
She was knee-crawling, commode-hugging drunk. She got a .239 GPA in drinking school
Watch the entire arrest video. It’s great. She repeats over and over “you’re going to ruin my political carreer.” All she cares about is her political carreer. And if you look at comments on the videos there are liberal defenders. And as usual being arrested, a criminal (even manslaughter in the case of Kennedy) is a resume enhancer in liberal circles.
I don't know if this is accurate, but my understanding is that Lehmberg has not been disbarred, even though she was convicted and served time in the clink.
Summary judgment is for civil cases. As an attorney who often does criminal work, I have to admit I enjoyed seeing someone who’s job it is to never give a crap about the people who she is prosecuting, learn what it is like to see your life collapse around you.
