I am with Perry on this one but if we are going to use over-drinking as a barometer for public officials, how many do you think will be left? Not to mention those that have abused drugs.

Very few critics of politics would survive that barometer, either. Same goes for those of us who post here.

Her main problem is her attitude. Yes, she endangered the lives of other motorists but thankfully was collared before she killed a carload of kids. Her abusive behavior after arrest as well as her refusal to step down from a taxpayer funded position in a PUBLIC INTEGRITY office are the real issue.

A fat old drunk lesbian - well, it is Austin so there's millions of those here, but really, this entitlement mentality of the statists is really unacceptable. Had this drunk been in the private sector, it would have been rehab or immediate termination

Just as Clinton's impeachment trial was not about sex, this is not about drinking. It is about the District Attorney in charge of the State's Public Integrity Unit using her position to enable life-threatening behavior - driving drunk to the point of unconsciousness on the wrong side of the road - and, when apprehended, pulling the "Do you know who I am?" card to try to get out of jail.

It wasn’t “overdrinking.”

It was driving while intoxicated. Very intoxicated.

Police arrested her after another motorist called 911.

Video/audio shows that the cops didn’t even know who she was until after she made a fool of herself during the field sobriety test.
