There’s no question there is an aspect of self defense on the cop’s part. Early on a hospital spokesman had already said they treated the cop for injuries to his face. There can’t be any argument that Brownie threw at least one, probably more, punches, at the cop while the cop was still in or by his cruiser. Once punched in the face the cop has the right to assume that any subsequent move on the hoodlum’s part, is threatening. And there is no mention whatsoever of any bullet wounds in the dumbasses back.
