I do not know how much wage distribution has to do with this survey. Here in the Philippines, a shop clerk makes around only $100 per month !! That is working 8 hours per day, 6 days per week. I do not see any unrest here.
I have no idea how much shop owners or business executives make. I should look into it. It would be interesting to know.
I never see any unrest where I live.
I don’t know about CEO pay elsewhere, but for US you can Google “Forbes CEO compensation” and the year that interests you. A few years ago you could pull out data by industry, but I think in 2011 they got rid of that pro people feature and by spreading out the information made it harder to photocopy and compare data.
