Couple of reasons. First, despite all the good things Scott has done for the state, he is the most un-charismatic person you’ll ever meet. Just has no spunk. Second, he’s not been without his share of pissing conservatives off. Not enough to make me not vote for him, but has had some misses.
Not to mention the Florida media is rabidly anti-Scott and has been from day one. If he ended hunger, the press here would characterize it as “Scott policies increase potential for obesity”.
