Who says they expect a different result? The same people who wanted the election thrown in 2008 and 2012 will want it to be thrown in 2016.

I bet Thad Cochran wishes he'd been able to use that one somehow. The margin would've been even bigger.

"Romney would make agreat president,"

Yeah, 'cause then we'd have Obamacare, only whitewashed by a RINO president. Everything would be fine and dandy that way, wouldn't it?

Do I really need a /sarc?

Let’s nominate whichever GOP governor racks up the most indictments by primary time.

He will not get the presidential nomination (hope to be wrong).

With the powers-that-be presently in the GOPe that might be true (geez, let's stay positive, though, eh?).

I would like to see a third party, too, but boy, it will be a haaaard battle after that. It's sad to see how the media's smearing of the Tea Party has reached in to the public conscious, and now they consider us to be the #1 enemy.

Romney would make agreat president, as would just about any of our Republican governors out there.

Romney would have been better than Obama but still a long, long, long, long ways from great.

I’m 67 and tired of seeing the GOP fight against what I believe in.

You can wait one more election if you want, but I won’t vote for the lesser of two evils again.

I am, too! I’m all for the third party NOW! I’m tired of waiting! We need some serious action today-NOW!! This has gone on far too long!

And the Perot Circus brought millions of new voters into the process who otherwise wouldn’t have voted at all.

I'm sick, old, tired, and poor and your age, but I can instigate on the internet, I was a Libertarian Party state officer in Connecticut until Roe vs. Wade. When I moved from Connecticut 15 years ago, I still enjoyed a good relationship with the state LP leaders who would invite me to speak or debate at their functions. We need to pull together a coalition of dissatisfied and disappointed right wingers of all sorts and shred the GOP and then replace it altogether.

May God bless you and yours!

Morph realistically laments: "[Cruz] will not get the presidential nomination (hope to be wrong)."

Thor replies: With the powers-that-be presently in the GOPe that might be true (geez, let's stay positive, though, eh?). I would like to see a third party, too ..., but boy, it will be a haaaard battle after that. It's sad to see how the media's smearing of the Tea Party has reached in to the public conscious, and now they consider us to be the #1 enemy.

Me three on the "third party" bolded part.

Cochran, Reid, Obama, Al Franken, Romney, Daly, Chicago thugs, etc., have to cheat to win. Why? Because they're the minority and would lose otherwise.

The majority of Americans reject leftists and leftism. Virulent leftism has to cheat, steal elections, game primaries (Mississippi, Romney), gin votes, harvest votes, fight voter ID, encourage illegal immigration, extort unions, etc., to win. They would lose in an honest contest because the majority want SMALLER government, LESS government, MORE self-accountability and freedom.

The media is 98 percent dominated by the force that is only about a third of real America, so America's self-perception is horribly skewed, and it's made worse because the cheating, tyrannical left has usurped education, so a leftist government now is a primary child-rearer in America. Most people hate that.

Neither the Democrat nor the Republican party offers anything but more government. In terms of "brand," the Democrat party is unhealthy, too sweet full-octane Pepsi. The Republican party is the more "conservative" diet decaf Coca Cola. America is ordering lunch in a restaurant and wants good old healthy unsweetened tea to keep the day going right. It's not on the menu.

A SECOND PARTY alternative, call it tea party or just "independent" in a presidential contest, ala Perot, is what the public wants; the media can squawk and distort until it's blue. On the ground, most Americans -- certainly most productive, independent, working ordinary joes, probably six in 10, hold leftism and excess government in contempt.

That is reality, that's gravity. The portrait of America that the media paints, and the one where a cheating minority has put powerful people like Reid and Obama in office, is a balsa-wood bridge and we're seeing a real live train approach. The election in 2016 may well be when it arrives.

I can’t. Obamerica is draining my already strained family budget. I refuse to go on food stamps and take government assistance...but it’s getting really damned close!! I nearly have my house paid off, I’m so close, if I can just make it for another three years, things will be better... if Obama doesn’t continue to try and “fix the economy” that is...
