Texas Gov. Rick Perry plans to turn himself into authorities Tuesday afternoon at a local Texas jail on the heels of his indictment for alleged abuse of power, a member of the governor's legal team told Fox News.
The governor is expected to be processed quickly and to leave. He is not subject to an arrest warrant.

Sure it will. Perry will put on a big smile and be dressed in a smart suit just like Tom Delay.

ALINSKY TACTIC: Make the other side live up to their own rules (while the radicals and opposition violate and exploit them with impunity). How about Perry indicts every single executive and elected official for Travis county for fraud, ethics violations, and abuse of authority? The best evidence Perry has is right on tape, with that crazy drunk prosecutor threatening law enforcement by pulling rank. And, I would have every single cop in her presence that night file a class action suit against her, on top of criminal charges. And no being stone cold drunk is no excuse for being a petty tyrant.

Downside is that he’ll also be wearing those stupid ugly glasses ...
To: Tea Party Terrorist
This is why he should show up in a suit and tie and smile for the camera. Then it looks like a campaign picture.

Could Perry avoid booking by entering a plea, waiving an arraignment and applying to do without a personal appearance?

The Dem bastards of Travesty County should be the ones thrown in jail for an abuse of power. Their kangaroo court even indicted Kay Bailey Hutchinson because she had won election as a Republican Senator! It’s really time for the sane majority in the state to abolish this sham “integrity agency”. Because they wouldn’t know integrity if it bit them in the buttocks.

Comparing mugshots, Perry vs. Moonbat Rosy, the side-by-side comparison should be much like this. LoL.
To: ColdOne
I wish he would fake out the press with their cameras and turn himself into a more distant jail. He can do that as long it is in the same county.

Political career destroyed (which was the entire point, just like Perry).Exactly. Vindication matters not. Perry 2016 is derailed as soon as he turns himself in.

This needs to be played out and then Perry needs to sue for malicious prosecution.

To those that would use DeLay as an example, please tell me what piece(s) of legislation Mr. DeLay introduced this session? Vindication doesn’t matter. This will ruin Perry’s political career. The Perry 2016 train has successfully, and with Perry’s assistance, been derailed.

Yeah, but if he acts like Tom Delay on his mug shot, that would be cool and would limit the usability of the mug shot as a political tool.
