I would say its already working actually. People were lined up outside the police dept yesterday cheering Perry as he went in. He is never going to be convicted of anything and the charges will probably just be thrown out. He can campaign on this for 2 years.
I agree. Once this mess is deep in the rear-view mirror, part of his message could be legal reforms, to lessen the possibility of political hackery at the prosecution level.
