President Obama put his own spin on the oft-quoted advice of predecessor Teddy Roosevelt: speak strongly and carry a nine iron.
The vacationing commander-in-chief returned to the golf course Wednesday after calling for justice in the brutal killing of an American journalist by ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and Syria) terrorists.
Obama also detailed his conversation with the parents of slain hostage James Foley, 40, whose beheading was videotaped and posted on the Internet by his killers.
The president zipped quickly from a local school to a Martha’s Vineyard golf course after his 12:45 p.m. media session. Obama delivered a short statement and took no questions from the assembled media.

I heard a rumor that the PGA is thinking about changing the term “birdie”, to a “bammie”. ;)
He just walked off the course and read a statement prepared by somebody else and went back to golfing. There was not an ounce of passion in his presentation. Just a reminder that ISIS is not a part of any religion, as if saying something that stupid makes it true.
While my Liberty is more secure the less he works, his mere presence as the President of the United States poses a national security risk that is immeasurable.

Mark, I believe it is all part of the effort to show the world weakness. He golfs incessantly so as not to make it appear the USA is any longer a strong and decisive entity. He and Jarret know what they’re doing and they should be roundly ridiculed for it (as if that has any impact anymore).
Ah well, Bammy did have to leave Golf Cart 1 to let us know he is appalled.
