When I read something like this it makes me wonder whether the person saying it is being an idiot by trying to be too smart by a half.

A “go to the back of the line” path to citizenship is a poison pill non-starter for the Democrats. Makes me think that Ryan is suggesting something he knows will never happen in order to peel off certain ethnic groups (Indians, Asians, legal Hispanics) who support immigration reform so long as the illegals don’t get to cut to the front of the line of a long, difficult and expensive prices.

That would seeming be a political win-win, use a poison pill to reposition the Democrats as being the extremists who are killing “reasonable” immigration reform.

I guess it’s as good a theory as any but Ryan is getting to be a one-trick-pony and if he doesn’t shut the bleep up about amnesty/reform he’s going to alienate the regular white guy vote and find himself in the washed out Rino home for retired losers. I lost interest in the guy when he just couldn’t say anything meaningful in the last preezy election.
