Cruising along in our Rambler Station Wagon, our whole family loved reading out those Burma Shave signs in unison back in the early 60s when the Interstate system was only partly built. By the late 60s I saw them rarely if at all. "This will never come to pass: A backseat driver out of gas". "Don't stick your elbow out too far, it might go home in another car". "He had the ring, he had the flat, she felt his chin, and that was that. Burma Shave".
