At least here it isn’t a crime to have a gun in your car. Moreover, I’m betting that your sheriff will issue you a CCW in either Inyo or Mono counties, unlike all of NJ where gun ownership is a capital crime! Can’t imagine living in a place like Newark w/o a gun. Actually, I can’t imagine living in Newark, period.
