Here is a letter from veteran Law Enforcement Officer of Gulf Shores (Alabama) Police Chief, Ed Delmore. Chief Delmore is a 32-year law enforcement veteran who spent most of his career leading St. Louis area departments until becoming the Alabama beach city’s top cop in 2010.
In his letter posted at Law Officer.com this past Sunday, he takes Missouri State Highway Patrol Captain Ron Johnson to task over his handling of the security situation in Ferguson. I’m hoping someone will take Missouri Governor Nixon to task as well over his recent videotape statement.
The point that Chief Delmore makes so clearly is that no one knows the mindset of Michael Brown on that fateful day — and no one has truly brought that up as an issue. But Chief Delmore does.
From a wholly investigative perspective, Chief Delmore is spot on in his assessment on “mindset.”
In his “Open Letter to Captain Ronald S. Johnson,” Delmore writes “I have to call you out. I don’t care what the media says. I expect them to get it wrong and they often do. But I expect you as a veteran law enforcement commander—talking about law enforcement—to get it right.”
Delmore was perturbed by Captain Johnson’s comments after the security video of Michael Brown’s apparent robbery was released:
Your words contributed to what happened Friday night and on into the wee hours of Saturday. According to the St. Louis Post Dispatch, you said the following regarding the release of the video: “There was no need to release it,” Johnson said calling the reported theft and the killing entirely different events.
Well Captain, this veteran police officer feels the need to respond. What you said is, in common police vernacular—bull***t. The fact that Brown knew he had just committed a robbery before he was stopped by Officer Wilson speaks to Brown’s mindset. And Captain, the mindset of a person being stopped by a police officer means everything, and you know it.
Delmore continues to provide a few examples, including the apprehension of serial killer,Ted Bundy and bomber Timothy McVeigh. In both cases, the officer did not know the men he stopped had committed crimes, but the suspects certainly did. (Click at link for more)

Missouri State Highway Patrol Captain Ron Johnson has the same problem as Barack Obama and Eric Holder.
They let their black skin and racial identity dominate their reasoning.
None of the three are doing their job impartially and without racial bias.
Is Ed Delmore black? If not, then he has nothing worthwhile to say. If he is, then he’s an Uncle Tom and has nothing worthwhile to say. < / sarcasm >
I think one thing to explore is the fact that blacks are having quite a bit of an anger issue right now wouldn’t you say? Why is that? Because they are going through hell because they believed in the Obama scam, they were conned. Their unemployment has more than doubled, now Obama is bringing in illegals by the millions to compete with them for jobs, and if that ain’t bad enough he taunts blacks by saying he is going to spend $3.7 billion on illegals while blacks go through hell in neighborhoods like this. This is exactly why he exacerbated the situation in Ferguson, it is the old Democrat trick of creating faux racism to bring blacks back to the left just like he did in Florida and the Trayvon scam during the election year.
What ticks me off is that Republicans sit by the sidelines while this is all going on when they could take every advantage of it. How about they start a campaign called “DO NOT BELIEVE THE CON”?? Blacks are being conned by the left and Republicans just sit there going “DUH!” Are there ANY Freepers here who have ANY political clout? Any Senators reading this? Any reps?? WTF are you doing while Democrats steamroll the country? These people are absolute MORONS and they are running circles around you. All you would need is a very small percentage of blacks going right and Democrats would never win another election again.
Ron Johnson is Missouri State Highway Patrol and Ferguson did not invite him in, Nixon appointed him to run things.
He fouled it and good plus pissed off every cop in the state with his hug a thug approach.
Curious, isn’t it, how a chief of police who limits himself to a full bird rank insignia is generally a lot more competent and straight shooting than those chiefs who appoint themselves to four star rank...
Highway Captain Johnson - not only did he let skin color dominate his reasoning, he has a son who wears his pants low and his hat sideways.
The culture trumps everything - even our Constitution and our judicial system.
Our forefathers fought to the death to found a country that was special. These tribals have no respect for what they fought for.

Partly right. Blacks have been going through hell since LBJ got them on the government dole 50 years ago. It’s not about to change as long as they vote for sugar daddy election after election.
What resulted was a "peace" for the cops, but 30 businesses being looted and destroyed.
And it will only get worse if the grand jury doesn't indict Officer Wilson.
The jury already feels immense pressure to indict Officer Wilson considering the governor's call for "vigorous prosecution", and Holder's visit telegraphing his intentions.
Even if a jury acquits Officer Wilson for reasonable doubt (and there is plenty), the Justice Department will still indict him for civil rights violations. They'll get him one way or another, regardless of his guilt or innocence.

Did you see Holder greet Johnson with “you da man”, then a big ole bear hug instead of shaking his hand like a man would do with another man, especially a stranger. It’s sickening. And let’s not forget about the fraud-in-chief inviting gangbanging rappers to the White House, the same rappers that “sing” about murdering cops and raping women. It will take this country 50 years to recover from this incompetent and the incompetents that dominate his administration.
Exactly right, but I think Obama got all their hopes up and now the truth has given them a major smack down and they are going extra nuts. WHY don’t Republicans take advantage? It drives me NUTS! I feel like going to Ferguson myself and yelling at the top of my lungs “DONT BELIEVE THE CON! STOP VOTING FOR DEMOCRATS THAT IS THE ROOT OF ALL YOUR PROBLEMS!” I cannot believe how dead the Republican party is, I really can’t. All the time I see these opportunities just whiz right by them then they wonder why they lose elections.

Couldn’t have said it better. This is EXACTLY what is needed to show the folks of Ferguson and many other black folks that they, being our equals, are only allowing themselves to be manipulated. It hurts the rest of us to witness REAL AMERICANS getting dupped on live TV, and to watch their youth wasted on mind boggling garbage spewed by the Democrats and Liberals who have NEVER really done a thing to help them out of the dumps. Meanwhile, their faux hero OBAMA, sells them down the river of dead-ends while he coddles ILLEGALS who will just add to the long list of people who would shoot thier sons in the head, not the least of which is thier OWN SONS who shoot each other. The cops aren’t the problem (mostly), but in reality, they will be their only hope on the day they finally rise up and break the chains of political pandering. Conservatism is the ONLY thing that will save them, and us, as an American family.
