The Russian aid convoy that entered Ukraine is a "direct invasion for the first time under cynical cover of the Red Cross," the head of Ukraine's security service said Friday.

Russia sends 34 trucks from aid convoy into Ukraine

Russia has sent 34 trucks from a humanitarian aid convoy that was stalled at the border for days into eastern Ukraine without Red Cross monitors, in violation of a Russian-Ukrainian agreement, a Ukrainian military official said Friday.

Another 90 vehicles are headed toward the Ukrainian border, according to Col. Andriy Lysenko, spokesman for Ukraine's National Defense and Security Council.

There’s a serious issue of genocide all civilized nations are going to have to deal with. Wouldn’t it be sensible for Kiev to set up a federation that gave more autonomy to the eastern regions, and stopped using all that foreign aid to kill their own citizens?

Chief of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) Valentyn Nalyvaichenko has said that the movement of Russian humanitarian cargo is a direct incursion of Russia into Ukraine.

Crimea had autonomy. How well did that work out for the Ukrainians?

Valentyn Nalyvaichenko said those driving the aid trucks are Russian military men who are trained to drive combat vehicles. He said the half-empty trucks will be used to transport weapons to the rebels and take the bodies of Russian fighters away from eastern Ukraine.

There's that name again.

The report quoted Head of the Security Service of Ukraine Mr. Valentyn Nalyvaichenko saying that “the crime was planned as a ground for bringing of Russian troops into Ukraine, that is - CASUS BELLI for the Russian military invasion.”

According to the report, official Ukrainian data revealed that both MH17 and AFL-2074 were both flying over the territory of Ukraine.

“At 16:09 in the area of Novomykolaivka town the routes of the mentioned flights crossed. It is worth noting that the flight specifications of the aircrafts were almost identical - the Malaysian aircraft flew at a height of 10,100 m at a speed 909 km/h, while the Russian one - at a height of 10,600 m at a speed 768 km/h,” the data revealed.

The terrorists then shot down MH17 at 16:20 from the area of ‘Pervomaiske’ village, north-east from Donetsk, near the town of Torez, and crashed near Grabove, Donetsk region.

What a horrible idea! Are you trying to deny Kiev their right to conduct genocide?

What issue of genocide? Ukraine is defending itself against an ongoing invasion by Russia that has been going on for months. If anything, the non-stop vile propaganda against Ukrainians that has been emanating from Russia, and its apologists in the West, has served to stoke the flames of ethnic hatred. Much the same way as happened in Rwanda. If anything, Putin should be on the dock in the Hague for what he has done to instill hatred in Russia and elsewhere against Ukraine.

A couple of recent tweets.

Putin in phone conversation with Merkel says further delays to the aid convoy were ‘unacceptable’. Russia could no longer wait.

Russia says ‘we will not accept the disastrous situation in which people living in the South East of Ukraine have found themselves.’

There was an official statement to this effect too.

The latest is that the convoy is unloading in Lugansk, they intend to unload everything today and go back.
