Salt Lake City is the best place in the world for doing genealogical research, but I don't know if we will be told the cop's identity. Maybe it has been released, but the media is not interested in the story.

Yes, the cop could be descended from someone who sold Africans (of another tribe) to slave dealers and later was enslaved himself...or he could have white ancestors who were slaveowners (as Obama does).
