President Obama returned to the golf course on Saturday amid mounting Republican criticism that he is spending too much time hitting the links during several international and domestic crises.
Obama departed Saturday morning for Farm Neck golf club on Martha’s Vineyard, where he is vacationing with his family.
He is playing his latest round of golf with a foursome that includes former NBA player Alonzo Mourning, White House Deputy Political Strategy and Outreach Director Joe Paulsen and long-time friend Cy Walker. Republicans have accused Obama of being insensitive for golfing during his vacation while tensions mount in Iraq following the beheading of an American journalist and in Ferguson, Mo., after the killing of an unarmed black teenager.
White House officials have brushed off the criticism, saying that Obama is actively engaged in both situations while he is vacationing.

If I’ve said it once I’ve said it a billion times, the problem is NOT OBAMA! The problem is CONGRESS which refuses to do anything about him! If you saw a town on fire and it was burning more and more of the town everyday would you blame the fire or the firemen who refuse to put it out? The metaphor is exactly what is going on here today with Obama. We have a fire in this country and Congress refuses to end it!
It's a joke, y'know? It has to be some sort of comedy sketch. He's thinking "why shouldn't I get the summer off like all the other kids ... in Congress as well as in elementary school, etc., etc."
I believe that we have at least a partial solution to that problem at hand, called an election. But, since many people have had there feelings hurt because not ever candidate agrees with their every point, they intend to vote for Democrats, and may even help them remain in power in the Senate.

Why would he care? The only people he has to answer to now is whoever is going to pay him to cash in on his political influence when he leaves office.

YES I agree. Lots of name calling to those of us who want to vote GOP holding my nose to avoid the worst of two bad choices. I still think that bammy ‘12 could have been avoided if more hadn’t stayed home “to show them!!!” Well, guess what those who stayed home gave us zippy for this last 4 years. Now he’s two years into it and putting the pedal to the metal. Sick what’s happening and sicker yet, thinking of what he has in his pipeline all set to go for the next two years.
