Would YOU put yourself in harms way EVERY day, not knowing if you will come home at the end of your shift? I think not.

A fisherman is ten times more likely to die than a police officer, has no pension, is paid less, and works under often terrible conditions. A logger is five times more likely to die on the job. Policing doesn't even make the top ten of hazardous jobs.
