Ironically, after posting that last night there was a commercial about some group gathering school supplies on TV; the whole class used in the commercial was black.
I see this as just an extension of a larger problem where a primarily older white tax base sees no point in paying for a generation of younger non-white children produced by largely non-contributing parents. The story of inner-city people looking for white children to play in their playground to motivate the city to fix it up comes to mind; besides school supplies, the teachers’ salaries and maintenance of physical buildings simply isn’t a priority for whites who see their children unable to have children of their own.
A lot of the freebies paid for by whites in good economic times are being cut as those same whites are crushed financially; on top of that, larger numbers of whites themselves are seeking to avail themselves of the benefits now.
