I think Foley is still alive. He was an Islamist symp. According to sources, he last statement was an anti US screed. If he knew he was going to dive anyway, why the hate speech? Or, he is dead but didn’t think his friends were actually going to kill him - that’s why he’s so calm before the “execution”
Yeah, I had the same thought. Why it would have gone down that way I don't know, but there's a lot of possibilities. These people are not exactly rational.
Foley is still a kuffarim (sp) like the rest of us. That he sympathized with his executioners makes little difference. It didn’t help Daniel Pearl either.
