Congress will cower. They want the power for their man when they are in power.
For once, the Stupid Party needs to stoop to doing what the Evil Party would do -- go for their own agenda. They can worry about stonewalling the reverse position down the road -- assuming there will be a road if they don't stop this madness of King Hussein.
